Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Strong Surgical ICU experience

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Certification, trauma course

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient population: trauma, transplant, vascular, GI, Ortho-spine, oncology

ICU patients and post-surgical patients- including Surgical ENT, GI Surgery, Trauma, Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures and General Surgery.

The unit has a diverse patient population receiving various types of surgeries, including Surgical ENT, GI Surgery, Trauma, Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures and General Surgery.
