Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Preferred 24 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience within the past 12 months.

BS completion preferred

12 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

Must have one year strong Cardiac experience. (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)
Two years IMC/PCU/Tele experience.
Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips.

Required Credentials:

Must be able to pass EKG test first week of hire.
Associate Degree or Certificate

Special Requests: An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Shift & Scheduling:

On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call.
Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed.
