Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is preferred with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Operating Room experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours 40

Shift: 7 AM -15:30 PM, 8 AM -16:30 PM + call

Common Cases: Total joints, ankle/knee scopes, appy, choles, Nissen, bowel resection, hernia, ear tubes, tonsils, sinus, cystos, bladder tumor, dental, podiatry, GI, eye (retina), endoscopy.

MUST have minimum of 3 years' experience in the OR-highly preferred to have experience doing all cases except eyes, robot preferred, da Vinci Xi experience is strongly desired. First time traveler ok if they have the needed experience and have impeccable references.

Scrubbing required - No

Weeknight/Call Requirements: They will have 4 shifts of call in a 4-week period, this could be 4 weeknight shifts OR 1 weeknight call and their weekend. Weeknight call is Mon-Fri 3:30p-7a.

Weekend/Call Requirements: Weekend call is Friday at 3:30p to 7a Monday. RNs will have weekend call every 8 to 9th weekend- possibly could be more frequently in the summer months.

Holiday/Call Requirements: No, unless they volunteer.

Floating Requirements: No

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Hospital provided.

Unit/Department specific orientation: Will give up to 2 weeks if needed to try and get into every service- may be less if get into cases in the 1st week.
