Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience: Scrub or willingness to learn to scrub required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• 2 years preferred.
• Endoscopy and c-section experience preferred, but not required.

Required Credentials:

• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Monday - Friday.
• Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 nights of call required during the week.
• Weekend/Call Requirements: every 3rd weekend.
• Holiday/Call Requirements: rotating holiday call coverage - 6 recognized CHI holidays.
• What is call response time: 20 mins, but we respond ASAP.

Floating Requirements: If we don't have surgical cases we float to the admission/discharge side of surgery to help with outpatient IV therapy, wound dressing changes, and blood products transfusion - first to float.
