Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations. (Nursing positions only)

Weekends: On Request

Patient Ratios : Depending on ICU, Ortho, Rehab and ER census

Unit staffing description: Two Respiratory Therapists on day shift and one on night shift

Scheduling requirements: 72 hr pay period

Floating policy: Required to work on all units

Advanced skills needed: 2 years or more experience in an acute care/ICU setting

Procedures performed on unit: Ventilator management, BIPAP\CPAP management, airway assessment, administer medications to lungs, ABG, EKG
