Shift:
Day/Eve, Monday - Friday
0940 - 2310 with weekday and weekend call responsibility.
Cases / Patient Types: Aneurysm clipping, cervical and lumbar fusion, laminectomy, craniotomy for tumor, subdural hematoma, acoustic case (sinus combined with neuro for tumor removal), VP shunts

Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
Floating: Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
Parking: Permit required through UW Transportation if parking onsite
Other transportation options are available: bus, park & ride, private parking, etc.
Call: Yes - If call is required potential of every 4-5th weekend
Orientation: 40 Hours

RTO Requests:
Manager will review/approve during candidate review process.
Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required.
Orientation:
UWH orientation is held every other week – typically on a Monday
Travelers will orient at 600 Highland Ave, room F8/170 (subject to change)
Orientation is typically about one week.
A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts
Passing score of 80% or higher
Attempts: Traveler will have two attempts to pass.
If the traveler fails the second attempt they will submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course to Vaya before a third attempt will be assigned
