Requirements

Experience

36 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience.

BSN completion required

3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Preferred)

CNOR (Preferred)

Vaccinations

RNs only: If CA state licensure is 3 months or less from expiration, proof that the renewal process has been initiated is required to apply

Shift & Scheduling: Every Other weekend

Experience: Cardiac Experience Required, 2 in OR

Skills Required: Ability to Scrub & Circulate Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures, Strong general surgery & abdominal transplant skills required.

Common Diagnoses: Liver failure, kidney failure, Obesity, Ovarian torsion or unwanted pregnancy, Urology issues, Brain aneurysm, Spine issues

Patient Population: Adults, Geriatrics

Float Requirement: At any time during assignment, resources may be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility (within 75+ radius) if the resource satisfies the requisite Job Specifications.

Unit Details

Prior Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Travel Pairs: travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit
