Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 36 months of Emergency Department experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

6 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from the last 3 years

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

Unit/Facility Details: ER is broken down into two sections ER North and ER South and will run two charge nurses; large amount of paramedic and nursing students which rotate through; also have student nurse externs as well; will run a triage nurse (3 during peak times) around the clock

Special Requests: Holidays: 2 out of 3 majors.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: First to float.
