Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license

NRP (Required)

Vaccinations

Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to do labors, deliveries, and postpartum.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Would be amazing if had NICU experience too.

Required Credentials:

• RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated

• Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

• References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Unit/Facility Details: Ratios: 1:3 mom babe couplets, 1:1 labors for the most part depending on the case

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: Every 3rd
