Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Med Telemetry Stepdown

Will float to sister units and all overflow areas – ALL MS Tele.

• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend and Holiday

On-Call- Requirements: None

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Med Surg/Telemetry and Higher

• Preferred Skill-set/Experience: Med Surg/Telemetry and Higher

• Scrub Color: Navy or White • Any unacceptable attire: per VH dress code policy

Patient ratios are not guaranteed but average is 1:7

13 - 26 week contract

No block scheduling can be considered at this time

Holiday RTO

May request one holiday off, no more than two days for holiday RTO will be considered.

Weekend Requirement: Every other Weekend

Will consider candidates at a 50 mile radius instead of the 65 mile radius rule

Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience
