Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

60 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required from last 4 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license

Additional Details:

Nurses Only (w/ compact license) - must complete a one-time 6-hour suicide prevention training during onboarding according to the WA state regulations.

Guaranteed Hours 48

7/7 or 7/21 preferred starts

8/18 Back up start

5+ Years of experience and/or Triage Experience required for 48 hour GTE.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients Active labor, post partum, gestational hypertension, GDM

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Circulate in the OR

Floating Requirements: Float required to postpartum as needed

Scrub Color/Dress code Navy blue. There are jackets and scrubs that are provided by the hospital for L&D Nurses.
