Additional Details:
Previous perm staff must be gone for 2 years before they are eligible to return in a traveler capacity. No exceptions.
Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
Roles requiring a state licensure only: Cannot have any licensure hits.
Required Skills/Experience: RNs required to titrate drips: Sedation Protocol & vasoactive drugs with Dr's orders
Types of Patients on Unit: Congenital Heart Program, DKA, Respiratory, Neurosurgery, Tracheostomies, Ventilators, G-Tubes.
Unit Details:
Special Requests: It is possible to do block scheduling as long as the needs of the unit are met.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotate; min of 2 full weekends a month and holiday rotation
Floating Requirements: Floating within children's (L&D, NICU, & Acute Peds); RNs must be willing to float to adult patients in L&D if needed. Travelers would be expected to take normal ratios for whatever unit they float to.
