Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Alaska license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (Required)

Vaccinations

COVID vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Flu vaccination required. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Same Day Surgery - Pre Op/PACU

Required Skills/Experience:

• Strong PACU Background

• Must have Preop and PACU experience.

• Ability to place IV, place orders, patient assessments, medication administration.

• With experience of at least 1-2 years.

Unit/Facility Details: A legible copy of a valid/current US Driver’s license or US ID card.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Some overtime may be required.

• No call; No weekends.

• RN will work with another RN, or at minimum a CNA from 1600-2000.
