Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience.

Required Skills and Experience: Required Surgery cases experience: ENT, Ophthalmology, Ortho/Sports, Plastics, Urology, Dental, GI. Peds Experience: 1-2 Years. Work Settings, Ambulatory/Outpatient, Phase I PACU, Pre-Post, Types of Anesthesia, Conscious Sedation, General, Local, Monitored Anesthesia Care (MAC), Nerve Blocks, Cardiac Monitoring, Dysrhythmia recognition/management, Surgery Cases, ENT, Ophthalmology, Ortho, Plastics, Professional Topics and Skills, Malignant Hyperthermia Protocol, Pain assessment & management, RASS (Richmond Agitation Sedation Scale), Medications, Narcotics/Opioid Analgesics, Reversal agents

Required Credentials: Government issued photo ID. Clear copy of front and back of driver’s license is required. Passport is acceptable in lieu of driver’s license. BLS ACLS PALS must be AHA only. RQI and HeartCode Complete are acceptable.

Shift & Scheduling Requirements: PreOp is 6-3:30 / PACU 6:15-3:45pm. 1 'late' shift a week: until the last patient leaves the PACU, typically no later than 4:30/5.
