Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience. Advanced skills needed: Experience with bipaps, high flow 02 and multiple oxygen delivery systems. Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care. Experience with tube feedings and NG/dobhoff tubes.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Peritoneal dialysis experience and peripheral iv skills.

Unit/Facility Details: Patient Experience requirements: hourly rounding on days, every 2 hour rounding on nights, AIDET and keeping up with communication boards on 7th floor. Dept 633 has tv communication boards.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Shift & Scheduling: Unit does self scheduling. Schedules are 4 weeks, and contract are required to work every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: May have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors.
