Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Acute Care Float Pool experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

MedSurg/Tele Float Pool

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

Required Skills/Experience: RN's must be able to read & interpret strips.

Required Credentials:

All travelers must take & pass a cardiac rhythm exam.
If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend days. Every-other-weekend. Saturday/Sunday. Work in the holiday rotation schedule with perm staff.

Floating Requirements: The most frequent units they will float to are 6N (36 beds) & 7N (29 beds). Other units: 4N (36 beds), 5S (36 beds), 6S (36 beds), & Critical Care (20 beds).
