Starting Peripheral IVs. GE and Siemens Experience required. (Hard stop)
Complex Academic Healthcare System with level a level one trauma program. 1,000 bed hospital. 200 dedicated pediatric beds. Outpatient Imaging, Inpatient Imaging, CT Intervention, Pain Management, Portable Neuro CT Imaging, Portable OR Imaging, Dedicated CT's in the ED. Pediatric and neonatal imaging.
Caseload: Cardiac, Oncology, Trauma, Pain Management, Interventional.
FIT Test required
Biweekly orientation schedule
Must have 1 year of dedicated CT exp (not multi-modality exp, such as CT/x-ray)
No block scheduling
Teaching Hospital Experience: Preferred
Community Hospital Experience: Preferred
Will accept a first time traveler, but MUST have 3-5 years of general CT exp. OR 1-2 years in a level 1 trauma center.
Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics
Patient Diagnoses: Preferred Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Geriatrics. Will work with peds
1st day orientation into Duke. Radiology On-boarding: Travelers will generally get limited training for one week in one area. Full time staff will get a full 90 days of orientation in multiple areas.
Will rotate through multiple areas: inpatient, outpatient, and ED.
Outpatient rotation is inside the cancer center- with primarily oncology patients. Must be highly proficient with IV insertion
RTO: must be included with submission
Drivers license or government issued photo ID.
