Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license

Intermediate AWHONN FHM (Required)
Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • L&D, PP, and circulating experience required
  • RNs required to titrate drips

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • triage experience strongly preferred.

Shift & Scheduling Requirements:

  • Weekend Requirements: based on unit needs
  • Holiday Requirements: based on unit needs
  • Is there a call or standby requirement: No

Floating Requirements:

  • Travelers required to float to like units within valley (Nampa L&D and Boise L&D). all sites are within approx. 20 mins of each other (mostly interstate driving) - notice is given prior to shift and can be expected but true floating to separate location is rare

Special Requests/Requirements:

  • Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
  • Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System
