Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Must be available to start within six weeks of the date of submission.

Shift & Scheduling: Call required (rotating call/weekends); Weekends required based on needs

Equipment Used on Unit: Varied OR equipment to include Microscopes, Robot Divincii Xi, Mako Robot, Laparoscopic Stryker tower, Stealth, endovascular Hybrid room equipment

Required Skills/Experience: General surgery, orthopedic and neuro surgery experience both RN and Tech; Basic general OR knowledge of more than one year

If candidate is for CVOR they MUST have at least two years of CVOR experience, to include: ALL ADULT open heart cases, OPEN and ENDOVASCULAR cases. This includes open and endovascular Triple A surgery, and must be willing to work with the Cath lab on cases such as TAVR (trans aortic valve replacement).

Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma experience; Vascular surgery exp, RN and Tech. Cases such as fistula creations, and endarterectomy surgery

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: X-lif, A-lif, Decompression, ACDF, Craniotomy, Robotic surgery (thoracic, general, gyn and urology), Ortho Trauma, total joints (Mako Robot), general open and laparoscopic surgery. CV- CABG, valves, surgies of the Aorta (to include traumas), TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open vascular cases.
