Required Skills/Experience:

• Will allow first time travelers only if they have 3 yrs of experience and level 1 trauma experience, otherwise travel experience is required.

• Proficient in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, case carts and scope reprocessing. Also proficient in the following service lines: Ortho, Neuro, CT, Trauma, Vascular, Oral, Plastics, ENT, and General surgeries.

• Work Settings: Acute Hospital OR, Preparation and Handling: Aseptic Technique, Case Cart, Organizing trays, Placing instruments on trays, Proper selection of wrapping materials, Sterilization wrapping procedures, Sterilization: Biological indicators, Chemical indicators, Immediate-use steam sterilization (IUSS), Steam Sterilization Testing/monitoring, Steris Testing/monitoring, Sterrad Testing/monitoring, Specialty Equipment Processing: Cardiac, Dental, Ear/Nose/Throat, General, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Robotics (Davinci S, Xi, SP/Medrobotics/Olympus), Transplant, Urology, Vascular, Decontamination and Disinfection: Chemical agents for decontamination, Disinfectants, High-Level Disinfection (HLD), Manual cleaning, Ultrasonic cleaner, Use of Washers/sterilizers, Processing: Sets/trays assembly, Professional Knowledge and Skills: Equipment Documentation. Teaching Hospital Experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Work Settings: Ambulatory Surgery Center, Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing: Bronchoscopes, Colonoscopes, EGD scopes, Endobronchial Ultrasound Scopes (EBUS), Endoscopic Ultrasound Scopes (EUS), Enteroscopes, ERCP Scopes, Fiber Optics, Flex Sigmoidoscopes, Decontamination and Disinfection: Cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), Processing: Endoscopes, Scope/Probe Reprocessing, Additional Skills: Children's hospital. Community Hospital Experience.

Required Credentials: Two (2) References. Both references verified within 6 months of start. Manager or Supervisor Preferred. Charge RN accepted but reference must state supervised directly.

Special Requests:

• Must be willing to fulfill a full 13 week contract.

• If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract.

• Any RTO should be provided at time of submission to be considered.

• Candidates should expect to work 2-3 of the 4 Summer Holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, and Labor Day).
