Required skills and experience: Strong Urology Skillset, and IV Start. Candidates MUST HAVE majority 3s & 4s in Urology section to be a PASS. IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Central line blood draw, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, PCA, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Work Settings, Med/Surg, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Plastics, Orthopedics.
Preferred skills and experience: Previous Charge Experience. Teaching Hospital Experience. Heparin, Insulin, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, MS/Tele, Surgical drains, Total Joint Replacements
Required credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. Government issued photo ID. Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted.
Floating requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
Special request requirements: RTO – we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval. Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.
