Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Shift & Scheduling: EOW

Required Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions. 1st time US travelers must have Epic experience. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience

Required Credentials: Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. Government Issued Photo ID required.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Variety of cancers, Sickle cell crisis, Spesis, Organ failure

Types of Patients on Unit: Variety of cancers, Sickle cell crisis, Spesis, Organ failure

Equipment Used on Unit: CADD pump, SCD pump, Wound vac, Tube feeding pump

Unit/Facility Details: Night ratios are 6/7 to 1 (stretch 8/9). 17 beds.

Previous Employment Requirements: Return staff policy – 1 year

Special Requests: No holiday RTO - please no more than 7 days

Floating Requirements: Float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units - will not practice outside of scope.
