Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
24 months of Emergency Department experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months
Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Guaranteed Hours 36

4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays

Floating: Float within ER.

Can be float between St. Joseph's Main, St. Joseph's Westgate, and the 2 Free Standing ERs in Litchfield Park & Glendale. (4 facilities total)**** about 30 mins apart, can be floated midshift

Beds: Acute - 36 and Subacute - 54. Trauma bays - 6 (no travelers)

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Trauma, Burns and Peds transferred out. CP Center, Spinal Cord TBIN certification. 88,000 patients per year, 250-300 per day.

Must have 1 year of trauma level 1 experience; will screen 8 months+

Must be able to read strips.

All RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED.

Additional Notes: 30-40 psych holds.
