Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

All BSA contracts are 48 hours per week, although not guaranteed. In the first 8 weeks there cannot be more than 3 days of RTO requested. After those 8 weeks they are flexible. No travel pairs will be considered. All travelers must be prepared to care for COVID patients if assigned.

Previous Employment Requirements: Former perm staff must be gone 1 year before can return as traveler.

Required Skills/Experience: 1 year of inpatient med/surg experience

Professional Knowledge and Skills

Isolation Precautions Wound Care/Wound Vac Work Settings

Med/Surg Respiratory

Nasal Cannula Non-invasive airway management IV therapy/Phlebotomy

Peripheral Line Care/Management Orthopedics

Preferred Skills/Experience: Total Joint Replacements

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID

Types of Patients on Unit: Adults, Geriatrics, Medical Surgical and Orthopedic patient population

Unit/Facility Details: 35 beds on unit, Daily Census 30

Special Requests: Block Scheduling: Case by case, No RTO on holidays, No travel pairs or groups

Floating Requirements: to units of equal or lesser acuity
