Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Required Skills/Experience: IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood product administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Assist with chest tube insertion/removal, Care of ventilated patient, Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), Ventilator management, Central venous pressure monitoring (CVP), Epicardial pacing wire care and management, Impella, Intra-aortic balloon pump, Emergency medications, Titrate cardiac drips, Titrate vasoactive drips, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Obtaining EKG

Preferred Skills: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Medical Intensive Care Unit, Continuous IV sedation, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun

Preferred Skills/Experience: CVICU nurse preferred. If there are ICU candidates with cardiac device experience- impella, balloon pump, TVP this would work as well

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Unit/Facility Details:

Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation

Shift & Scheduling: Will work every other weekend.

Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by
