Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Cardiovascular Operating Room experience within the past 3 years.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

License

Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license

BLS (Required)

ACLS (Required)

TNCC (Required)

CNOR (Preferred)

Vaccinations

Required Skills Experience: Experience with Scrub and circulating.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Level 1 experience preferred. Previous Charge, teaching hospital experience.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: CABG Valve replacement/repair Insert/decannulate ECMO patients Left atrial appendage clipping ECMO Ascending aortic aneurysm repair/replace with graft Impella 5.5 insertion/removal

Unit/Facility Details: 356-bed non-profit, research and academic medical center located in St. Louis, Missouri, providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region. The medical center is a part of the SSM Health System and is affiliated with the Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Special Requests: Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends are call only. Call required: 13-14 Shifts per month, includes weekend call.

Floating Requirements: Floating required to Vascular and General.
