Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license

Additional Details:

Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Required Skills/Experience: Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference. Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpful.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage- JADA system, nitrous oxide.

Types of Patients on Unit: Patient Experience requirements: Remain above 75%.

Equipment Used on Unit: CPN

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds : 9 L&D, 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs & 3 bed OBED.

Shift & Scheduling: 4 weekend shifts/month.

Floating Requirements: Can float to M/B or outside department to task.
