Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 22 months of Operating Room experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: General OR, ENT (Laryngectomy, Radical neck dissection, Tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, Tracheostomy), Endoscopic Procedures (Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGD, PEG tube placement/exchange), General Surgery (Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Colon resection, Hernia repair, Thyroidectomy, Whipple), Gynecology (Hysterectomy, Colporrhaphy, Tubal ligation, D&C, Laparoscopic GYN), Neurology (Anterior cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, XLIF, Scrub Neuro), Ophthalmology (Cataracts, Eye trauma, Glaucoma), Orthopedics (Arthroscopy, Closed/Open reductions, Ortho/Spine, Total joints, Scrub Ortho), Plastics (Abdominoplasty, Breast augmentation, Free Flap, TRAM flap), Transplant (Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Organ donation), Urology (Cystoscopy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, TURP), Trauma (Amputations, Burns, Gunshot/Stab wounds, MVA), and Robotic Surgery (Colorectal, GI, GYN, Neuro, Ortho, Otolaryngologic/TORS, Urologic).

Preferred Skills/Experience: ENT, GU, Plastics, Burns

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Evenings

Hours: 0630-2330

Shifts: Mix of 8, 10, 12's for a total of 40 hours/week

Call hours: M-F 2100-0630, Saturday and Sunday: 12 hrs 0630-1900 and 1900-0630

Number of Weekend Shifts Per Contract: 3 Weekend shifts per 13 weeks as needed
