Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is required from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Required Skills/Experience: Neonates 29-34 weeks, Neonates > 34 weeks, Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Invasive Hemodynamic monitoring, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Blood glucose monitoring, Hyperbilirubinemia, Phototherapy, Breastfeeding Support/Handling of Breast Milk, Feedings (bottle, breast, gavage, IV therapy, UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter), UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter), Antibiotics/Antivirals, Anti-Seizure Medications, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Seizure disorders, Patient/family teaching, Phlebotomy, Suctioning (ETT, NT), High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Oxygen Delivery Systems, Tracheostomy care/management, Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP), NICU III, NICU IV, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Neonatal Sepsis, Sepsis Work Up, Level IV exp. hard stop

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neonates < 24-28 weeks, Post cardiac surgery, Post interventional cardiac catheterization, Pre-Cardiac Surgery, Insulin administration, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Gastroschisis/Omphalocele, Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC), Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Post Abdominal Surgery, Administration of blood & blood products, Arterial line management, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Neonatal Dosage Calculations, IV vasopressors, Surfactants, Steroids, Assist with lumbar puncture, ICP monitoring, Therapeutic hypothermia (cooling blanket), Ventricular Peritoneal (VP) Shunts, Developmental Care, Thermoregulation, High Frequency Ventilation, Nitric Oxide (INo), Meconium Aspiration, Oscillators, Respiratory distress syndrome, Vapotherm Epic experience within the last 12 months

Required Credentials:

  • Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
  • Drivers License/State ID

Shift & Scheduling: Drivers License/State ID

  • Day/Night, 12 hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm, 7:00pm-7:30am. Monday through Friday and required to work 2-3 weekends per 6-week scheduling period.
  • Will Accept 4x12s And Up To 26 Weeks
