Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Cardiac Intensive Care Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license

Vaccinations

Additional Details:

Must have recent experience/competency: vv/va ecmo, iabp (intra aortic balloon pumps), ttm/arctic sun, impella, crrt, pa catheter guided therapy

2+ years recent dedicated cardiac icu/ccu/cvicu experience is required; must have worked in a dedicated cardiac icu - must also have strong experience on all advanced therapy modalities.

Must be able to read and interpret ekg rhythm strips; manage and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips;

Day/Night Shift Position.

Weekend requirement- Every Other Weekend;

Holiday expectations (i.e. 1 major, 1 minor) 1 major, 1 minor Holidays- 1 major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s). A holiday includes the day before, day of, and day after the holidays listed.

Floating: float to other IFMC ICUs including Stepdown/Progressive Care/IMC/Tele Units.

First to float

Scrubs- Navy Blue Pants and Solid Navy-Blue tops or Solid white (Jackets Solid Navy Blue or Solid white)
