Required skills and experience: Open Heart Recovery Skills Required. Previous Charge Experience. Medical Intensive Care Unit, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Burns, Cardiovascular, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Assist with management of BiPAP, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pulmonary edema, Pulmonary embolism, Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Accessing/Managing Ports, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac

Preferred skills and experience: CRRT Experienced Preferred. Teaching Hospital Experience. Community Hospital Experience. Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Care of the patient on ECMO, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Valve Repair/Replacement, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), CVVHD/CRRT, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drain (EVD), Lumbar drains, Carbon monoxide poisoning

Required credentials: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Nursys REQUIRED with Submission. Government issued photo ID. Drivers License/State ID.

Preferred credentials: BSN Preferred.

Shift & schedule requirements: 36 or 48 hours/week considered. Weekend Coverage: Every Other.
