Required Skills/Experience:
Someone who can cover Cardiac, Neuro and Vascular on night shift.
Candidates must have recent Cardiac (Open Heart) experience with in the work history to qualify.
Every candidate must have at least 2 years of experience as a CVOR RN and the last 12 months must include 1 or more assignments at preferably an academic medical institution, but at least at a Level 1 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer those that can both scrub and circulate
Required Credentials: All new RN starts will be required to pass a basic test in their specialty and an EKG test. The EKG test includes mapping and interpreting. Nurses must be able to identify lethal rhythms. If unable to do so there will be extended remedial training beyond Day Two of orientation.
Shift & Scheduling:
Variable days of the week
Call requirement: 1-2 days per week to include weekends and holidays. 45-minute response time to the facility.
Holidays and weekends required.
Work some weekends and call. Flexibility is key.
