Travel Nurse (RN) - Oncology Unit

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System

Required Skills/Experience: Must be proficient with IV starts, Central Lines, accessing ports, assessments, and chemotherapy admin.

Okay with first time travelers if they have 3 years of prior experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Prefer prior Infusion clinic experience.

Would accept someone with 1 year of infusion clinic experience and 1 year of oncology experience.

Would accept someone with 1-2 years, 2 years preferred of inpatient oncology experience.

Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Unit/Facility Details: Average # of patients/day: 8-10 patient encounters per nurse per day with 4-6 individual patients per day.

Medical Oncology, Radiation, and Infusion all in one area.

Shift & Scheduling: M-F

Rotating start times - Earliest shift 0700 latest shift 0900

Floating Requirements: Yes - within the clinic - triage if they have extensive oncology experience
