Skills checklist must be completed within the last 6 months for Application. Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48hrs). If you fail the exam twice, this may result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Scheduling: Self-scheduling.

Every other weekend - 3 out of 4 holidays and 6 weekend shifts within a 6 week schedule.

Bed Count: 48-bed unit.

Primary Population: Primarily adult patients with hematologic or oncologic concerns, immunocompromised, radiation complications, cardiac arrhythmia, complex fluid and medication management, and single and/or multi-system complications.

Skills that will be utilized are administering chemotherapy, continuous infusion medication management, pain management, wound vac. dressing changes, wound drains, central lines, tracheotomy patients, chest tubes, IV start skills, peripheral lab draws, arterial blood draws, various intravenous drips i.e. cardiac, insulin, heparin, and cardiac monitoring.

Strong Oncology background and Phlebotomy skills.

Must be able to read and interpret strips.

EKG exam & Pharm exam - must pass during compliance process - prestart.
