Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Roles requiring state licensure only: Floating roles must have MO license and is in the process of applying for KS license (+ vice-versa) or must have a compact licensure to apply.

If requesting 7 days of RTO, the expectation is that the missed time is made up

Shift & Scheduling:

• Holiday shifts and Charge RN assignments as needed per unit.
• Weekend req: 8 weekend shifts in Saint Luke’s 6-week schedule period, combination of F/S/S.
• Is on-call req: No

Floating Requirements: Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? YES - Float Pool Position WILL NOT be assigned a home unit. Will float between (roughly) 5 units – all Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU Departments and floating to other Metro campuses as needed.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Skills req: Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown. Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring. Cardiovascular: Pre/Post Cardiac Cath. Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, Renal Failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke, COVID.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Skills Preferred: Cardiovascular: Sheath Removal. Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management. IV therapy/Phlebotomy: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management.
• Previous Charge Experience

• Cert: NIH only accepted through AHA, Apex, or NIHSS websites.
