Experience

12 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

24 months of Cardiac Transitional Care Unit experience is required from any number of months.

ADN completion required

12 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Every Other Weekend

Holiday Rotation

Float to all inpatient units as needed

Specialty Floats: ICU / MS / MS Tele / Intermediate Care

AACN

Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire.

Required:

2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience

Must have 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)

Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips

Patient Types: Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure

Dress Code: Scrubs - Any Color

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
