Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required from last 3 months.
58 months of Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience is required from last 3 months.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role
License

Additional Details:

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Call requirement of up to 3 shifts in a two-week period which could include weekend call.

Weekend call is Saturday from 06:00 to Sunday at 06:00 and Sunday from 06:09 to Monday at 06:00

Requirement: PACU or recovering of Heart Cath experience. Minimum of three years, but five is preferred.

Weekend required: Yes

On-call required: Yes

Open to accommodating block schedule: Per manager discretion

Scrub Color: Royal Blue or Navy blue

Traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler

Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
