Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.

12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is preferred from any number of months.

Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license

Requires LDRP & CAH Experience

Follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios: 1:1 for pit, mag, or insulin drips. 1:3 couplet care.

Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Mix. Mainly obstetric/neonates, hypertension, GDM, try not to deliver anyone less than 36 weeks

Experience or 'Must have' skills: able to read and interpret fetal strips, critical thinking, follow quality metrics, previous travel experience, must be able to read strips.

Will float to Medsurg & ER as needed

Are RNs required to titrate drips: Yes

Common titratable &/or set rate drips: pitocin, insulin, magnesium

Shifts & Scheduling Day: 0645-1915 Night:1845-0715

No self scheduling. We allow block scheduling

Scrub Color/Dress code: scrub color is maroon, scrubs are provided and RN will change once on the unit into our surgical scrubs

Orientation: 3 shifts

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within the past 12 months

RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
