Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 12 months of Step Down Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a West Virginia license or compact license

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.

If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.

LPNs only: Must have previously worked on at least (1) a travel assignment with Trusted and have a reference from that assignment

Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Must be able to handle a 6 patient (med-surg) or a 3 patient (stepdown)

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends Days - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

Holiday Requirements: Expect to work about half of all WVUH recognized holidays

No call or standby requirement

Floating Requirement: Serves both floor and step-down patients, based on patient and hospital needs

First to float or be pulled to other floor/stepdown units
