Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Additional Details:

A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Guaranteed Hours: 36

Weekend Hours: every other weekend

Float Requirements: yes, rare. Only to unit appropriate to skill or as a "set of hands"

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: All patients through age spectrum

Must Have Skills/Experience: self-motivated and self-sufficient, able to perform all ER tasks. ie- phlebotomy, IV, EKG, splinting, wound care, transporting

Preferred Skillset/Experience: 2+ yrs, patient centered with focus on creating a positive experience for patients and families while meeting operational metrics

Type of Patients on Unit: standard ER patients
