Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit

Cannot have an employment gap of more than 90 days (regardless of reason) in the past 12 months.

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

36 hours/week

Every other weekend or three weekend shifts/month

Floating policy: to Critical Care as needed

Must have: Critical Care Competencie, vasoactive infusions, arterial lines, invasive central lines, ventilator management

Procedures performed on unit: Chest tube placement, central line placement, bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy

Advanced skills needed: Preferred but not required: Cardiothoracic surgery experience, cardiology experience

Dress Code: (Required uniform) - Royal blue scrubs

NFRMC CVICU is an ECMO center. We are currently running with 3+ patients on ECMO, including heavy surgical volume for both Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery. Impella-Assisted High-Risk PCI Cardiology and Cardiogenic Shock program.
