Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

HTL (Required)

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

Min of 2 years of experience within specialty (Pathology Laboratory)

Required Certification: ASCP (HT / HTL)

Education: Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or an Associate’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences

Pathology, Cytology and IHC are all in Dept. 705- receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimen into Cerner, collection of blocks from PA staff, processing tissue, embedding, cutting, staining of slides.
