Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Must have at least 9 months of same unit experience in the past 12 months, no exceptions.

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend requirement for contract

Float Requirement: May have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors

Required Skills/Experience: EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience

Experience with Bipaps, high flow 02 and multiple oxygen delivery systems.

Experience with Stroke and post cardiac cath care.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Peritoneal dialysis and Peripheral iv skills experience

Experience with tube feedings and NG/dobhoff tubes.

List of procedures in the unit: Peritoneal dialysis, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertions, dobhoff/NG tube insertions, central line dressing changes. Trouble shooting wound vacs

Equipment Used on Unit:: Bipaps, high flow o2, vapotherm, alaris pumps, cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis. Wound vacs in conjunction with wound care
