Requirements

Experience

12 months of acute care experience within the past 2 years.

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neurology Unit experience with 12 months within the past 24 months.

12 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Maine license or compact license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Med/Surg Neuro

RNs only - Need at least a years worth of acute care experience within the past two years.

Required Skills/Experience: Neuro/Neurosurg

Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro experience preferred.

Types of Patients on Unit: neurosurgical patients (spinal surg, spine fractures, brain tumors), seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, joint replacement surg

Unit/Facility Details: Number of Beds: 26

Special Requests: Travel Pairs are not accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call requirements.
