Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Additional Details:

BJC policy: Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

Scrub experience for cardiac , thoracic, and vascular and circulate required

Years of experience REQ: 2 years required; Will consider 1 year if Level 1 trauma Facility

First-timers accepted: (Y/N) Yes Only if More than 2 years experience in a Level 1 Trauma Facility

Weekend REQ: Yes, per call policy

Is on-call REQ? (Y/N) What is the req? Night shift agency staff do not take call.

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes will float within service line

Cardiac and Thoracic cases primarily. Vascular (Open and Endovascular Procedures), Transplant (Liver, Kidney, Pancreas), Whipples (Pancreatic Procedures),

Scrub: Navy

Teaching Hospital Experience: Required

Patient Age Groups: Adults

Patient Diagnoses: Cardio-thoracic, Cardiovascular OR

Heart and lung transplant experience is needed for night shift. Please screen and call out if they do not have this exp.

No RTO the first week of an assignment.

Permanent employees at must wait 1 year before returning to any BJC facility as a traveler.

All Standard Travelers (reside outside of a 75 mile radius) can stay for an 18 month period. Must take a 3 month break after 18 months.

Travelers can stay for a period of 12 months. Must take a 6 month break in service after 12 months
