RTO must be listed at time of submission.
All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years
Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
Required: LA fire card within the last 30 days
On Call not required.
Block schedule: Per manager's discretion.
Prefer the caregiver has experience at a facility that does the minimum of 200 deliveries per month.
Experience circulating for cesarean sections in the operating room.
Manager prefers not to have candidates that only worked in teaching facility.
BLS & ACLS: Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
NRP: Current certification issued by an acceptable agency - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).

Providence requires 2 Supervisory References covering 1 year within last 3 years (6 months for CNAs) during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs / Leads
