Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) - AM: 0700-1930/ PM:1900-0730 (12hr shifts), Schedule 4 week period and it is self-scheduling.

Weekend Requirements - Weekend shift for day & night: Fri/Sat/Sun. every other wknd

Holiday Requirements - May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation

Unit/Department - Sub Acute

Beds-26 beds (all private rooms)

Ratios-staffing requirements are based on the census and calculated over a 24-hour period.

Common diagnosis / Types of patients - Chronic Resp. Failure/trach dependent/vent/ GT dependent

Experience - Must have 2 years of MedSurg experience and/or experience working in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)
