Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.

Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units. Clinicians will be requested to sign an attestation to confirm they are aware of this requirement during compliance

Float required to Adult Med/Surg units - Traveler required to float to help CNA & Tech tasks as needed

Care for medical flex populations that can be cared for on any adult inpatient unit.

Orientation Hours: 24

Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics

Daily Census: 24

Patient Diagnoses: -Ortho: Total Joint Replacement/Fracture Repair Urology, GYN, Oncology, Vascular Surgery, Wound Healing, Medical Flex

If multiple holidays occur during assignment, facility will only accept 1 holiday RTO request
