Requirements
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required with some in the last 24 months.
3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Massachusetts license

Additional Details:

Seasonal Flu Vaccine is required if working during flu season (September 15-April 30th).

Must be fully vaccinated (exemptions are reviewed on a very limited basis).

No Block Scheduling for any Travelers at Salem.

Skill Sets Required: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Circulate, & Newborn Care.

Clinician to Patient Ratio: L&D 1:2-3 Evals, 1:1 Active Labor, Magnesium gtt or EPIDURAL. PP 1:3-4. 6. Bed Count: 5 LD Rooms, 12 PP, 2 OR’s, 2 RR, 2 ANU rooms.

Census: Average daily census 15-25 mothers, babies and labors.

Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotate position is primarily a Day position with rotation to Eves and Nights as needed. We cannot offer straight Days due to our Union Agreement.

BLS, NRP must be AHA, Red Cross, CHSF or Military.
