Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Strong cardiac tele background.
  • Be able to decrease cardiac drips per physicians’ orders and parameters.
  • Titrate drips: Cardizem, Heparin, Amiodarone
  • Be able to read & interpret strips.

Preferred Skills/Experience: 2 years - Cardiac Tele background.

Required Credentials:

  • **Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, through UNA, only (with 2 max attempts).
  • **There is also a PASS/FAIL SIM LAB on day one of orientation. If they fail, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months.

Types of Patients on Unit:

  • ED holds waiting for placement on a unit, primarily MS/Tele.
  • Nurses will be caring for more tele patients VS medical.

Unit Details: Beds CRMC 60 ED Beds, MGMC 31 ED Beds

Shift & Scheduling:

  • 7a - 7p or 7p - 7a - Ability to self-schedule; however this could change from time to time.
  • 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule.
  • Holiday Rotate in with the perm staff.

Floating Requirements: Would float to med/surg/tele/overflow units and CRMC/MGMC Eds as needed.
